03
Why it matters
Thesis spine
- ONDS is a small asymmetric defence/autonomy option, not a proven core compounder yet.
- The Mistral / Omnisys / Palantir adjacency points toward a battlefield autonomy and software stack, which is the interesting branch.
- Q1 and FY26 target raises improved the story, but quality of earnings and repeatability still need proof.
- The right posture is to let it earn bigger sizing through backlog-to-revenue conversion, margin improvement and cleaner operating performance.
04
Controls
Watch + risk
Watch next
- Q2/Q3 revenue quality and backlog conversion.
- Omnisys acquisition integration and terms.
- $10.50–11 reclaim with volume/catalyst.
- Any Palantir/defence contract expansion that changes quality of demand.
Main risks
- Valuation can get demanding before operating proof arrives.
- Dilution, warrants and acquisition overhang.
- Accounting/non-operating profit noise can mask weak core operations.
- Defence/autonomy narratives can hype faster than contracts convert.
